Do you know about and understand the upcoming Over-the-Counter bill that is in the Senate? Did you know that in Georgia a bill was introduced and defeated that would have deregulated dispensing and hearing aid distribution? I don’t want to see that bleed into Alabama. Being a valued member of the Society will ensure that you are aware of all political issues that arise in our industry and what we, as a Society, are doing to protect our profession.

You will be kept up to date for early registration for CE meetings: we schedule them fall and summer and occasionally in the spring. we offer at minimum four (4) times every 24 months for you to obtain the required number of CEs. Currently our license requires 20 CEU hours with 6 of those hours being mandatory face to face. Again, we offer at least two opportunities every year to receive your face-to-face hours. In Partnership with the GSofHP, within that two year cycle we offer enough opportunities to earn all required CE hours to maintain your certification. As a member you get discounts on attending plus early registration updates about class offerings.
